Hockey is a common interest shared by individuals worldwide. Yet, each reason varies. If you were to ask me, I would share how the trajectory of this sport has completely shaped me into the person I am today. I have been fortunate enough to have hockey engraved into my life since I was a little girl, and to be completely honest, I cannot imagine a world without it. Hockey is projected as a 60-minute game that ends once the final buzzer goes off, but for me, it means so much more than any displayed time limit. To many, it’s just a game, but I never saw it that way.
